Memories from School
We were at school together in the 1940’s but in different Houses, so it wasn’t until much later that several of us Old Girls gathered annually at Wisley for a day of much chat and reminiscing, and comparing of notes. Your mother was such fun on those occasions, exploring the garden from her buggy, enjoying every moment, as did the rest of a ‘gang’ now sadly further diminished in number. We shall remember Yvonne’s chuckle, her love of plants and insatiable quest for information as to how our families were faring. Your mother will be remembered as a very special member of the gang from Malvern – and someone with a wonderful sense of humour.

The lovely photo you sent of young Yvonne stirred many happy memories of her at Malvern: singing, playing the violin and always having something unusual and interesting to say.
